Dr. A.K. Das is a pioneer Nuclear Medicine physician with vast experience in the field of Molecular Imaging and Thyroidology. He passed his school leaving examination in Kolkata with the distinction of National Scholarships in the year 1970 and did his graduation in Medicine Center, BARC, Tata Memorial Hospital, Bombay and then did specialization in Nuclear Oncology from Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.

He did a lot of research works on Sports Physiology ans was awarded fellowship by Sports Authority of India in the field of sports sciences.
